Step 1: Explore & enquire
Start with our standard floor plans and indicative pricing. We offer a wide range of modular home designs direct from our Mansfield factory. Each includes quality standard inclusions, with upgrade options available. This first step helps you visualise your future build and understand our pricing. There’s no pressure, just possibilities.
Step 2: Site inspection & permits
We assess your land and handle all necessary paperwork. Every site is different. While a building permit is always required, some properties also need a planning permit. Our team manages the full documentation process, including working drawings, soil tests, bushfire (BAL) ratings and thermal assessments. These reports are charged separately from construction.
Step 3: Custom design & quote
Tailor your Prime Portables home to suit your vision, land and budget. After we’ve gathered all site reports, you’ll customise your home. You can choose floor plans, colours, cladding, fittings and more. We’ll finalise your quote and issue a contract. Once signed, a 5% deposit is required to begin building permit lodgement
Step 4: Factory construction
Built locally. Delivered efficiently. Construction takes place in our Mansfield factory and typically takes 12 to 16 weeks. Factory built means fewer delays and high quality control throughout. We’ll keep you updated while your home is taking shape.
Step 5: Delivery & Installation
Your new home arrives, ready to live in. We transport your completed modular home to site, carry out installation, and complete any required works. Prime Portables will apply for the certificate of occupancy. Once approved by the relevant authorities, we’ll hand over the keys, ready for you to move in and enjoy.
