Step 1 - What We Do
As a starting point, we offer a range of STANDARD floor plans and inclusions with INDICATIVE PRICING direct from our factory in Mansfield. This will give you an indication of our price point.
We offer a range of building sizes, designs, and pricing to suit your budget. All our homes come with quality standard inclusions. We also offer a wide range of upgrades should you choose.

Step 2 - Site Inspection & Permits
Site specific requirements can often trigger the need for a planning permit. A building permit is always needed.
To address both planning and building permit requirements, a range of documentation is required. This includes working drawings, detailed list of specifications, soil reports, BAL (bushfire attack level) assessment, and thermal assessment.
We utilise our team of industry professionals to gather all your site-specific information to support your application. At this point a fee will be incurred for the cost of gathering these reports, which will be invoiced separately to the construction cost.
Step 3 - Design Customisation & Pricing
Once we have completed a thorough site inspection and have all the relevant reports, we can finalise your design. During this process you will be able to customise your design including floor plan, cladding, colours, fixtures, fittings, and any upgrades.
Once you are happy with your selection, Prime Portables will prepare a contract. Upon signing a 5% deposit is required.
Once we have received the deposit Prime Portables will apply for a building permit.
Step 4 - Construction
Prime Portables will begin construction of your new home in our factory. Construction can take up to 16 weeks however in some cases it may be longer due to external factors. Once your home is complete it will be transported to your location where we will carry out all site-specific works.
Once all site works are completed, we will apply for the certificate of occupancy, upon receiving this we can arrange a suitable time to handover the keys. Time for you to enjoy!
